Our client, a fast growing pharmaceutical company is presently looking for his next hire!
The Marketing Manager will report directly to the President & CEO. They will be responsible for the creation and execution of the company’s marketing strategy, branding and all external communications. We are seeking a high energy, creative, results-oriented marketing professional with a proven track record of success managing marketing for a company in a fast-paced, competitive industry. The Marketing Manager typically will be managing a variety of projects simultaneously and be able to quickly prioritize and be accountable for reaching deadlines.
The Marketing Manager must be comfortable working in a small but dynamic environment and must have an entrepreneurial view of running the business.
The marketing manager’s primary responsibility will develop a comprehensive understanding of the product line and its different regional markets to contribute the knowledge, experience, and creativity in ensuring the planning and execution of effective marketing strategies.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Work with the Senior Management team to develop and build the organization’s image and brand.
· Ensure all marketing activities are implemented and executed in line with all regulations and compliance policies of the organization.
· Lead the complete lifecycle and marketing strategy of product portfolio from launch, commercialization, and discontinuation.
· Work with a cross functional team related to pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities.
· Corporate branding – overseeing the development and management of promotional tools/advertising materials/company website/ and social media communications.
· Built and manage the e-commerce platform.
· Develop and manage B2B marketing strategies.
· Monitoring activities of Canadian and international pharmaceutical industry’s marketing strategies.
· Lead, manage and participate in all trade show planning & execution activities.
· Work closely with appointed PR Firm to develop and execute public relations strategy.
· Perform any other related task deemed relevant to the position.
· Accountable for current and future departmental budget creation
· Accountable to accurately budget departmental spending
What is expected of you at this level?
· Accomplish the tasks defined in job description.
· Propose creative solutions to set company image apart.
· Provide regular project updates to department leaders informed about the resources and tools to be made available to their department.
· Achieve the objectives of their department and the company.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication or equivalent.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing.
· Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience using social media tools is an asset. Experience with building B2B marketing strategies.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Capacity for analysis, synthesis and problem solving.
· Bilingualism (French and English) and excellent written and oral communication skills required
Location:
· Can either be located in Toronto (GTA) or Montreal
