We are looking for a Marketing and Events Director for several prestigious properties in downtown Calgary. Responsibilities

As the Marketing and Events Director, you will collaborate with regional asset management, leasing, and property management teams to devise and implement programs and initiatives.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Generating ideas and organizing installations and events in common areas to increase exposure and support leasing goals.
• Monitoring and evaluating marketing activities and leveraging data for future strategies.
• Creating marketing materials that reflect the brand, designing and producing marketing collateral such as brochures and pitch books.
• Managing budget allocation and forecasting for events and marketing initiatives.
• Providing expertise and guidance for retail marketing efforts.
• Developing and executing marketing strategies for office leasing across multiple properties, collaborating with leasing teams to develop comprehensive marketing plans.
• Implementing digital marketing strategies to enhance online presence and engagement.
• Coordinating property-specific marketing, arts programs, and events.
• Leading and mentoring the regional Marketing, Arts & Events team.
• Cultivating industry relationships and staying informed about the local marketplace.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Design Programs.
• Experience managing external marketing, advertising, and branding agencies.
• Understanding of communication legislation and privacy regulations.
• Proficiency in event planning and coordination.
• Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, SEO strategies, web content management systems, email platforms and social media marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related business field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience of leading a team.
• Innovative and strategic thinking combined with tactical execution.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent writing and editing abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• It will be an asset if you are familiar with the arts and entertainment community and related event programming.
• At least 5 years marketing experience in commercial real estate or real estate brokerage.
• Outgoing personality with exceptional relationship-building skills.

Compensation

The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary of $100000 to $110000, plus a bonus.
