Market Manager Jobs

Our sales team in Alberta is growing and we’re currently looking to hire a Market Manager. As a global leader in piping systems solutions, Aalberts integrated piping systems is the only “One Stop Shop” manufacturer to provide comprehensive solutions for the Mechanical, Industrial, Oil and Gas, Mining and Plumbing Industry. The focus for the successful candidate will be on growing and maintaining relationships with local contractors, engineers and distribution network. Industry experience is preferable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·        Develop annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans for a clear strategy to execute in the markets of responsibility.
·        Attend industry meetings, events and trade shows
·        Must have the ability to present products and solutions to engineers, owners and contractors via power point and/or through a detailed conversation.
·        Mechanically inclined and has an understanding of various valves and piping systems to discuss applications and recommend products.
·        A willingness to learn and develop product knowledge and learn competitive products.
·        Understanding the market and market trends to report up to management.
·        Build strong relationships with engineers, contractors and distributors.
·        Able to travel daily to make calls and contacts and some overnights to manage the assigned geography.
