Chatters, the leader in the Canadian hair and beauty industry with 116 hair salons across Canada has an exciting new opportunity and immediate opening for a Manager, OMNI Brand Development. Reporting to the VP, Marketing and Brand, the Manager OMNI Brand Development is an integral member of the Marketing team who will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective strategies that optimize brand partners through Chatters owned marketing channels to increase brand presence and generate sales. You will manage vendor Brand Development Funds and drive revenue growth while enhancing brand partner ecommerce/digital presentation.


You will be expected to manage multiple assignments simultaneously with strong attention to detail. You excel in collaborative projects, take initiative to get things done and combine your business savvy and relationship building to find creative ways to showcase our acclaimed brands.


This is a hybrid work opportunity based out of our Mississauga, Ontario corporate office.


A little about the role:


Brand Development Fund (BDF) + Revenue Generation:


  • Identify key market opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to capitalize on them.
  • Analyze sales/purchase data and market trends to identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to drive revenue growth for partner brands and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage contracts, budgets, and invoicing for BDF activities.


Ecommerce Brand Presentation:


  • Partner with brands to ensure consistent and engaging brand representation across all ecommerce channels including product descriptions, imagery, and other content to optimize product visibility and appeal to online consumers.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in ecommerce marketing.


Performance Analysis and Reporting:


  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of brand development marketing initiatives.
  • Generate regular reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders/brand partners marketing performance.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Lead internal strategy and work back schedules on all brand development marketing initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to merchandising and marketing teams on brand development marketing initiatives and programs.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure seamless integration of brand development marketing efforts with online campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, merchandising and supply chain teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.

  • Post secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Proven experience (5 years) in trade marketing, brand management, or related roles, preferably within the beauty industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Confidence in fast paced environments
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools and platforms for performance tracking and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
