We are currently looking for a Manager, Digital Business Integration & Portfolio Management (NAR) at our Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON


The Manager, Digital Business Integration & Portfolio Management (NAR) has dual reporting lines, both to US Director, Digital Portfolio & Enterprise and President of Audi Canada. The role is responsible for the for the digital portfolio management discipline for Audi Canada (ACI),representing digital strategy on the Audi Canada executive team, and providing effective leadership to the Audi Canada digital team. This role is directly responsible for digital strategic alignment of ACI to internal and external digital stakeholders including VW Group Canada, Volkswagen Credit Canada, Audi of America, and AUDI AG.


This individual leads the ACI digital portfolio and strategic management for the digital department. Specifically, the role serves as the primary contact point for all departments within Audi Canada and is responsible for understanding the business vision and goals, leading the effective translation into briefs, epics, and requirements that guide the development of digital solutions. They work closely with the business stakeholders to understand their long-term strategies, plans and requirements, and collaborate with the digital portfolio and delivery teams to integrate these requirements into the overall NAR Ecosystem and digital strategies.


  • This is position is hybrid and requires 2 days in our Ajax office


Primary Responsibilities


  • Lead development of key product documentation including business, legal, technical, marketing, and support requirements
  • Work closely with the Manager, Strategy Development and strategic project office to ensure delivery of digital platform requirements within the agreed project plan
  • Consult with business stakeholders from across all organizational departments to understand their long-term strategies, goals, plans, and requirements and support building into Lean Business Case formats
  • Work with Audi and Group finance controlling to secure and manage digital budget
  • Integrate business goals and requirements into the overall customer ecosystem and digital strategy
  • Guide the business to answer questions as they complete the Lean Business Case
  • Support the business to determines the Minimal Viable Product (MVP)
  • Represent Audi Canada’s digital interests on the NAR Steering Committee (Steerco) and leverage North American synergies for the Canadian market
  • Track team progress, report out results, and diagnose failure points. Leverage this information to ensure smooth delivery of business briefs, epics, and requirements
  • Lead the customization of global platforms to fit market specific needs
  • Support the development of key product documentation including business, legal, technical, marketing, and support requirements
  • Set and align Audi Canada’s digital and technical platforms to NAR and Global strategy
  • Manage business strategic objectives and set team’s key performance indicators and individual objectives and manage pace to completion and individual performance & calibration
  • Provide regular project reporting to key stakeholders
  • Lead the effective translation of business needs from Audi departments into the digital portfolio as epics/stories for digital solutions and platforms and lead the requirement signoff by business units
  • Ensure that the digital solutions delivered meet the business needs
  • Steer and integrate digital platforms - Salesforce, CRM, oneAudi websites, e-commerce, Pricing, Connect, myAudi, etc.
  • Ownership of Audi Canada’s mid to long term strategic Digital KPIs (known as MissionOne)
  • Lead the integration of ACI digital business requests, plans, and requirements into briefs, epics, and guide them through the Enterprise Portfolio Management process through to the delivery backlog
  • Represent and communicate Audi Canada’s interest within the global digitalization strategy
  • Key interface with business for ingesting project requests into the portfolio with a particular focus on Connect & Data, Energy Service, and Sales, Marketing & Aftersales verticals
  • Capture business outcome, leading indicators and non-functional requirements
  • Ensure business, portfolio, and delivery teams are aligned with clear expectations of each parties responsibilities for moving their requests forward through delivery
  • Manage overall yearly performance review process and provide quarterly feedback to individuals for continued growth for Audi Canada digital team members including the Digital Platform Manager, NAR Audi Digital Product Owner, Digital Product Data Owner, Frontend Digital Architect
  • Cultivate a learning mindset among direct and indirect teams, encouraging continual personal growth and promoting employee engagement, skill, satisfaction, and customer focus
  • Foster business stakeholders understanding and business value of the enterprise digital portfolio process
  • Alignment and KPI management with Audi AG (global), Audi Canada and Volkswagen Group Canada
