Logistics Coordinator Jobs

*Martin's Family Fruit Farm is one of Canada’s largest apple growers, packers, and processors. Martin’s operates one of Canada’s most advanced apple storage, sorting, grading and packing facilities on a year round basis. Martin’s is currently hiring a full-time permanent Logistics Coordinator.*
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor the _Logisitics Coordinator_ is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments on day shift. This hands-on position will work directly with material handlers, Quality Control and Production.
_Day Shift_ - Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm Saturday work and overtime as needed
Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and reach truck as needed to assist material handlers with picking and loading
• Other duties as assigned
• Work with Quality Control to ensure all shipments meet final inspection
• Ensure that all shipments are handled safely with precision and in a timely manner
• Promote safety within shipping, following all health & safety and food safety procedures
• Collaborate with material handlers and Production team to manage inventory levels, answer any inventory questions and resolve problems/issues
• Using inventory software, enter product details of shipments, create paperwork for loads and provide drivers with copies

*Qualifications*

• Must have valid driver’s license
• Ability to plan, organize, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills
• Shipping/receiving and forklift experience required
• Ability to troubleshoot/problem solve with minimal supervision
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory management system)
• Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management
