Lecturer in Civil Engineering JR#13412
The School of Engineering at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan campus, located in Kelowna, BC invites applications for up to 2 Lecturer positions in civil engineering. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2023 for a full-time 1-year term with the desire of renewal thereafter based on performance.

Area of expertise
The successful candidates will be required to teach courses in civil engineering in the areas of structural and/or geotechnical engineering as well as general courses within the Civil Engineering Program.
Eligibility and duties
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. The successful candidate is expected to be registered, or be eligible to register with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (www.egbc.ca).
The successful candidate will have relevant university teaching experience, a commitment to teaching excellence, an ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and provide service to the University and the community.

UBC’s Okanagan campus is situated in Kelowna on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territory of the Syilx Okanagan people who continue their thousands of years of stewardship today.
