Leasing Manager (Residential) Jobs

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Leasing Manager to join our growing team!

Key Responsibilities

As Leasing Manager with Clifton Blake, you will be responsible for executing the leasing strategy that will ensure the highest and best performance of our portfolio of apartments. You will:

• Build a CRM pipeline of prospective tenants, touring and promoting available units to prospective tenants.
• Monitor existing tenancies lease expirations, negotiate, and prepare extension agreements.
• Ad hoc projects as requested by management.
• Build trusting relationships with tenants to ensure an exceptional renting experience for all stakeholders.
• Attract, identify, qualify, and close on prospective new tenants
• Compile and provide management with ongoing insight into occupancy rates, market rents, research reports, surveys, and new developments.
• Work closely with marketing team in designing the campaign for each building
• Negotiate financial terms and prepare lease proposals, offers and leases for apartment units.
• Conduct background due diligence checks and advise management on each applicant

Experience Required

·A post-secondary education in a related field.

·Prior working experience in residential apartment leasing.

·Working knowledge and understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and related forms.

·Solid computer skills (MS Office, CRM tool)

·Strong relationship management skills to effectively build relationships with tenants.

·Demonstrated selling and negotiation skills to secure profitable lease agreements.

·Experience with credit analysis and risk mitigation.

·Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with ability to provide flexible solutions to our clients.

·Strong analytical, problem-solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

·Superior communication and interpersonal skills.

·Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.

·Ability to travel across Ontario.

·Valid driver’s licence, clean driver’s abstract and access to a personal vehicle required.
