POSITION: Lead Project Engineer REPORTS TO: Projects Director
ON-SITE/HYBRID/REMOTE: On-Site (Abbotsford location)
We are looking for a Lead Project Engineer to join our Projects team! Our Project Engineering Lead will be responsible for the technical delivery and management of projects within scope, budget, schedule, and quality records. Also, you will act as part of a project development team, including Engineering, Operations, and more!

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- You are proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Solidworks (or similar)
- You have excellent analytical skills
- You have great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
EXPERIENCE
- You are a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in British Columbia
- You are registered or eligible to register with APEGBC or ASTTBC
- You have 5 years + progressive experience as an Engineer in a manufacturing/industrial industry
- You have a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical (or similar) engineering
- You have experience with projects involving manufacturing plants
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment
THINGS YOU WILL DO…
- Review and confirm Engineering deliverables
- Design systems to optimize process flow
- Generate concepts, detailed drawings and more using different software
- Ensure to maintain health, safety, and environmental focus with projects
- Prepare projects documents, assist with producing Engineering proposals, and manage associated projects
OTHER…
- Valid DL
- May on occasion work at various times including evenings and weekends, as the job requires
