About the Role: 

As an Epicor ERP EDI Consultant, you will take ownership of Epicor ERP/Kinetic EDI setup and configuration, including the Demand Management Module, and assume overall delivery responsibilities; producing quality deliverables, training the customer to be self-sufficient, and ensuring the ERP portion of the overall EDI project is thoroughly tested and ready for production go-live. You will be accountable to the Epicor ERP EDI Manager and are responsible for organizing and controlling tasks within your projects and showing the ability to lead those engagements. You will need to be able to work with the customer on an independent basis for these projects with little supervision by the Epicor ERP EDI Manager.

What You’ll Do: 

• Acts as ERP EDI primary point of contact for Customers ensuring timely messaging around Status, Issue/Risk, Scope, Budget, and Schedule is communicated and understood
• Responsible for daily entry of time and expenses in a project accounting system.
• Responsible for understanding and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and providing internal updates when impacted by project-related factors
• Collaborates with internal and external groups, e.g., Epicor ERP consultants, project manager, and 3rd party resources) to research and recommend solutions.
• Possess accurate estimating skills for various project tasks. Anticipate issues or conditions that may impact the original scope, budget, or schedule and notify the ERP EDI Manager and Project Manager promptly
• Analyze and anticipate project risk and proactively communicate escalating issues early, as well as propose a solution and plan to address them
• Sense of urgency for customer business needs and persistence to follow through on closing projects and ensuring successful go-lives
• Develop rapport with internal and external groups; be professional and empathetic during conversations
• Responsible for obtaining a utilization target of 70%
• Ownership of Epicor ERP/Kinetic EDI implementation engagements, including but not limited to proactive Scope, Budget, and Schedule management.
• Configures, tests, and trains customers on the EDI Demand Management module as subject matter expert, providing initial troubleshooting assistance during implementation

What You Need to Succeed:  

• Effective teaching, excellent verbal/written communication skills, and PC skills required
• Ability to perform work plans, identify resource requirements, establish priorities for available resources, and monitor the performance of project tasks
• Ability to meet utilization targets and complete project deliverables on time
• Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and manufacturing accounting concepts
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, including virtual and video presentations
• Customer-centric, results-oriented, self-starter, and able to work independently
• Ability to maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor throughout all interactions, including high-stress or escalated situations

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart: 

• 5+ years experience in the areas of consulting, implementation, application training
• Knowledge of Epicor’s E10/Kinetic applications is highly preferred
• Bachelors’ degree - Business, MIS, IS, Supply Chain, Education or related degree, or equivalent work experience
• EDI implementation or support experience is highly preferred
• Previous experience with manufacturing software preferred
