Job Description

About Vintality

Vintality is an precision agriculture startup, focused on vineyards. Our work involves consulting services, surveys and data gathering, and developing new farming technologies.


We are looking for a junior software developer to work on our irrigation management platform, currently in an applied research stage. This fully remote position requires working on varied tasks, alongside a small, motivated team, with a high level of autonomy. This will be a part-time, temporary position with the intent of leading to a permanent role at the end of the probationary period. You will work with talented engineers with FAANG experience that will provide mentoring and support.


Requirements

  • Must be living in B.C. and be eligible to work in B.C.
  • Working towards, or completed, a degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Interest in working on back and front-end technologies
  • A passion for building user-friendly interfaces


Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working in agile teamsand in remote environments
  • Experience with Git workflow
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with C#
  • Experience with React
  • Experience building APIs
