Job Description

We are looking for a freelance/contract Website Developer to help us improve our website www.glutenull.com in the following areas:

  • UPGRADE - Help with upgrade to new wordpress version and plugin issues (certain plugins are not compatitble with new Wordpress version and site crashes when we attempt this)
  • Improve UI / UX
  • CHECKOUT FINAL PAGE - Create a new page once the order is complete – a thank you page with order number to go to after checkout is complete.
  • SYNCING ISSUES - Fix syncing issue with Quickbooks and Shipstation, overlapping order numbers
  • Fix bugs and issues
  • Add features i.e. mix and match product features for add to cart, improve checkout, etc.
  • PAYPAL - Re-install Paypal
  • SHIPPING – Add different shipping charges to certain areas
  • CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS - Fix Login Issues
  • Fix any backend SEO issues – crawling errors, etc. if there are any. Loading time. Remove unnecessary plugins.
  • Fix Currency Switcher


Location: Ideally in BC but can be remote as well.


The right candidate will be experienced in Wordpress/WooCommerce and website front / back end website development.


Looking for someone who can start right away.


Salary: Starting from $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functionally to enhance overall user experience of our platforms
  • Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish
  • Revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content


Qualifications

  • Familiar with working with Wordpress and WooCommerce
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
