THE OPPORTUNITY

Triton Environmental Consultants Ltd. (“Triton”) is seeking a highly-motivated and enthusiastic Junior Field Biologists to join a well-established team of environmental professionals in our Vancouver office. This position is a temporary contract with an expected end date of December 2023 with potential for extension.

The successful candidate will work as part of a field team, reporting to the project office. Responsibilities will include a variety of tasks, including:

• Water quality monitoring
• Basic water testing
• Data collection
• Data entry and reporting

Skills And Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Demonstrated attention to detail required for data collection and entry
• Experience in water quality considered an asset
• Post-secondary education (degree or technical diploma) in biology, environmental science, or a related discipline
• Ability to work long days in the field and handle physically demanding work
• Positive attitude and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment essential
• Valid driver's license from a Canadian province or Territory acceptable for driving alone and with passengers in a work setting
