- Digital Solutions, enabling real-time payments for Retail Peer-to-Peer (P2P), Business (B2B/B2P) Payments, ISO20022 Payment Gateways and API Integrations for financial institutions and service providers.
- Mobile Payments, fulfilling critical services delivery requirements, we remain at the forefront in the evolutions of NFC-based payments with extension to mobile wallets and other digital payment methods.
- Retail Solutions, enabling Card Present Point-of-Sale Acquiring, including Interac eCommerce via dedicated Host to Host Payment gateways for Payment Service Provides, FinTechs and Credit Union.
- Card Issuance & Management, with a history of firsts related to Card Issuance Solutions, Everlink provides a fully managed, flexible, and turnkey experience ensuring credit unions, banks and other payment card issuers are able to provide the card products they need.

The Opportunity
A DevOps Engineer focuses on automation and maintenance in the Everlink production environment, focusing on automation and maintenance of software products, systems, and services. The role includes deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. In addition, a DevOps Engineer is a member of our production support staff who works with software developers, system operators, and other production IT staff to oversee code releases and deployments.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Develop scripts to automate procedures and practices.
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
- Deploy updates, patches and fixes in Cloud and Traditional environments.
- Provide technical support on the resolution of production issues.
- Support the development and refinement of DevOps practices and procedures
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
- Implementation of collectors, sources and notifications in a SIEM
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
Education & Experience Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience implementing DevOps solutions
- University degree in a field such as computer science, science, or engineering
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certification is an asset.
- Basic working knowledge of the AWS Cloud environment, including operation and deployment, is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Some experience with Python
- Ability to define and deploy AWS monitoring, metrics, and logging systems.
- Creative yet organized approach to solving problems and providing root cause analysis
- Provide feedback via empirical evidence to support process improvement and refinement.
- Experience working in a support role
- Support occasional after-hours work to support mission-critical functions and resolve incidents.
- Critical thinking and solving complex problems associated with your role and responsibilities.
- Work independently or in a group setting with self-management of time and tasks.
- Understanding of modern development and operations processes and methodologies.
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and analysis for non-technical people and to convey processes, concepts, challenges, and issues to technically trained people and communicate concisely and clearly in verbal and written communications.
- Creation of environments in AWS, including the deployment of code, services, and Lambda.
- Ability to implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance.
- Experience in the configuration and administration of Microsoft Windows Server OS.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Management of time and tasks and expressing accomplishments, expectations, & impediments.
- Self-motivated to support continuing education in your role and responsibilities.
- Ability to implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS.
- Embrace change and adapt to new situations.
- AWS Architectural concepts and services.
