It Data Analyst / Full Time (Remote)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Entry Level IT Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for data analysis. In this role, you will work closely with the IT department to gather and analyze data, identify business needs, and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency. This is a remote position based in Canada, offering flexible hours and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in project planning and execution
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and data governance
• Maintain data dictionaries and data lineage
• Collect and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns
• Develop reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Support data-related projects, including data validation and testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large sets of data
• Experience with SQL and other programming languages such as Python or R
