Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Baie D'urfé, Canada; Hybride

In this role, you will be accountable for managing all aspects of supply planning & inventory for all raw material & packaging component within Galderma Canadian plant. You will be responsible for process improvement solutions to optimize and reduce inventory by using analytical and process improvement methodologies, implementing, and managing a framework that maximizes customer service by optimizing average working capital and overall supply chain costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, establish, and maintain planning inputs, including product lead-times, safety stock targets, coverage target, economic order quantities, etc. and initiate actions to optimize all contributing variables with site production plans to ensure execution of the MRP and maximize the inventory level
• Provides analysis to identify opportunities for improved supply utilization, standardization, and process improvement; evaluates findings and makes recommendations.

• Report weekly and monthly inventory metrics accompanied with strategic and tactical actionable recommendations to optimize inventory performance.
• Maintain inventory investment with established targets
• Work closely with the Production Planning team to synchronize all supply processes to limit overstock

• Support the Monthly Inventory review process and implementing initiatives to optimize inventory performance.
• Support the development and implement of inventory improvement initiatives including mapping new processes and the corresponding reduction of waste activities using Lean techniques.

Skills & Qualifications

• Good communication skills along with problem solving skills
• College/University Education Degree
• Prior experience in the Data Management, Operations, Supply Chain management, process management
• Several years' experience in supply and/or deployment planning
• Strong analytical and spreadsheet capabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Bilingual
