How will you fit in the big picture?
The Sales Finance Intern will work with all levels of the Hershey Canada organization to understand current results, future expectations and the business drivers that provide opportunities and/or risks to our strategic customers. The Finance team is an indispensable partner of the customer teams, well positioned to lead thinking on how to drive the business forward. You will gain a well-rounded understanding of the various functions within finance that are required to drive healthy growth at a leading consumer packaged goods (CPG) company. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the organization while gaining hands-on experience in the field of financial and business analysis.
What will you do?

• Provide leadership in delivering value and insights to the Sales organization as a foundation for profitable growth
• Be accountable for delivering the following:
• Learn about the Hershey organization and the dynamics of a leading and high performing CPG company
• Projects/ Business Cases: lead comprehensive customer business cases from end to end (strategy, insight, scenario analysis and recommendation) and evaluate promotional effectiveness to drive ROI improvement with retail partners. Insights & impact will be presented to members of the Hershey Canada leadership team.
• Be coached by an experienced finance manager, who is committed to your success
• Financial Reporting & Insights: develop sustainable reporting and tools that will provide the organization with visibility to risks/opportunities and drive informed decision-making.
• Systems: become an Excel / Alteryx/ Power BI expert and transform data in a way that will drive actionable decision making.
• Be a core member of project teams throughout your internship, solving problems that have true impact to the Hershey business in Canada

Minimum Requirements

• You are Proficient in MS Office Suite – especially Excel. You can gain insights from analytical data and channel that into impactful execution.
• You think like a business owner: you connect the dots and recognize how business decisions impact the organization.
• You collaborate cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• You are enrolled in a business program at post-secondary institution
• You ask questions to understand the business/organization, challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement, and take initiative to provide actionable insights & recommendations. You see more than one solution to a problem and you drive the solution to the end - even if it’s outside your responsibilities.
