JOB ROLE

In this critical position you are the first contact with clients in regard to a Claim.

‘Utilizing strong Empathy and Customer Service Skills you begin to gather information by phone about personal history, medical and incident information about the claim.The abilities to probe and gather details accurately are imperative. Organization of information and scheduling accumulation of further information by speaking or emailing Doctors or medical facilities, legal entities or business owners is also critical in building the file. Eventually you require strong team skills in passing on the file to adjudicators.

‘Further admin responsibilities include….filing, dealing with incoming mail, data entry , building spreadsheets,acting in a support role to other staff,etc

Qualifications

2 years in similar role

college diploma an asset

medical secretarial background an asset

Experienced in a Microsoft Environment

Strong data entry skills

Goal oriented

Strong communication

Able to work independently and as a team player

Able to meet timelines

Organized and accurate
