Support Engineer - INSURANCE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, along with exposure to VMWare, Azure, Microsoft 365, and OpenTwins.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to diagnose and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Configure and optimize network components to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support network infrastructure projects.
• Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and reporting.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking.
• Assist in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of virtualization technologies, such as VMWare.
• Work with Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms to deploy, configure, and manage cloud-based services.
• Provide support and administration for OpenTwins environment, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction.
Skills/ Attributes Required
• Proven experience as a senior support engineer, resolving 2nd & 3rd line technical issues
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Proven experience with Windows Server administration
• Familiarity with VMWare virtualization technologies and administration.
• Proficiency in working with Microsoft 365 services and Azure cloud platform.
• Exposure to OpenTwins preferred but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, VMWare, Microsoft 365, or Azure are preferred.
