Job Description

Position: Project Manager, Information Security

Location: Hybrid (Toronto)

Tenure: Contract (6 months, chance of extension)


Position Overview:

Our client is a Toronto based higher education institution. They are looking for a contract Information Security Project Manager to join their team.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Facilitate steering and advisory committee meetings on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management on relevant project updates.
  • Understanding of and adherence to all project constraints, including time, scope, and budget.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage project timelines, dependencies, and milestones through the use of a project plan.
  • Prepare and manage the project budget and project charters.
  • Lead quality assurance processes.
  • Proactively manage project risks, including the identification of mitigation strategies.


Must Haves:

  • Experience in a higher education environment is a strong asset
  • 6+ years of experience in managing enterprise level IT or Information Security projects
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or CAMP certified
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Project Management or Business Management
  • Strong vendor or stakeholder communication skills
