You will be a trusted and credible business advisor to the leaders and employees supported, as well as a culture steward of our organizational ability to promote an engaged, empowered, and inclusive work environment.

Formula for Success: You Will…


  • Execute responsibilities in compliance with all relevant federal, provincial, and local employment and labor laws
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Site Director and Labor Relations Specialist
  • Serve as a member of the Windsor Site Leadership Team
  • Support ECR Sales & Distribution
  • Provide employee and labor relations, organizational development, HR advice and counsel to employees and managers, talent and performance management, compensation administration, policy interpretation and administration and recruiting oversight
  • Participate in ECN HR meetings as needed
  • Support BASF, regional, and EC HR initiatives as needed
  • Support specific LR activities including contract administration, internal investigations, conflict resolution, grievance, disciplinary and termination processes
  • Manage and lead the full range of day-to-day HR and Labor Relations support required for the site to achieve its strategic and tactical objectives



Qualifications




Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Business Administration or other related discipline
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information as needed
  • Willingness to learn and develop business acumen
  • Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proactive and collaborative team player with a bias for action
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong customer-focused approach
  • Strong knowledge of applicable federal, provincial, and local employment and labor laws
  • Minimum of 8 years’ progressive HR/Labor Relations experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
