Location: Cambridge, ON (Fountain St.)
- Provide coaching to all levels of employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Partner with leaders, managers, and the HR/Talent team to achieve business results.
- Participate in HR related projects and initiatives, including policy development, communications, and training.
- Provide guidance and coaching to senior leaders and front-line managers in areas such as performance management, progressive discipline, salary administration, conflict resolution, training and career development, attendance management and employee/labour relations.
- Liaises as a single point of contact for both managers and employees within an assigned client group.
- Assist management with collective agreement administration and interpretation, grievance investigation and resolution, and bargaining support.
- Identify and evaluate industry best practices and business trends and capitalize on opportunities that will improve the company’s competitive advantage.
- Candidates with an HR certification or working towards their designation would be an asset.
- Previous experience in labour relations is required.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills with an ability to recommend and influence leaders on solutions to complex issues.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or operations is required.
- Must be flexible in your ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances, having a high tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty as business conditions change.
- University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of Human Resources experience, with demonstrated progression in HR roles and responsibilities.
