Coast Care Ltd. (formerly Sunshine Coast Senior Care) is looking for In-Home Care Assistants and Registered Care Aides to join our team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast (Gibsons to Sechelt), British Columbia (45 mins north of Vancouver by ferry) and/or be an integral part of our exciting launch in the Sea to Sky region (Squamish to Whistler).

You will be helping seniors stay safe at home and keep their independence, support women and their families through high-risk pregnancies and the transition home post-natal, support clients with short and long-term disabilities (including WCB and ICBC claimants), post-operation and cancer treatment recovery, end of life support and comfort for clients and their families, providing much needed respite for caregivers/loved ones, so they can recharge their own batteries.
Potential Signing bonus or moving allowance up-to $500.Plus, generous and competitive compensation based on experience/education, and benefits package, potential staff housing available, and education/tuition assistance.
Flexible Schedule – full-time, part-time, and casual positions available.
Requirements:
- Current Criminal Records and Reference Checks
- 1-2 years relevant education/experience, or equivalent.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of clients, their family members, caregivers, and co-workers.
- Conversational English skills – additional languages is an asset.
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates recommended.
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required.
- Independent, highly personable, attention to detail and able to follow protocols and client care plans.
- Comfortably able to meet the physical demands of safely assist clients with standing, sitting down, walking, lifting mobility and lifting devices.
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle (we provide a vehicle allowance)
