Coast Care Ltd. (formerly Sunshine Coast Senior Care) is looking for Registered Care Aides to join our team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast (Gibsons to Sechelt), British Columbia (45 mins north of Vancouver by ferry) and/or be an integral part of our exciting launch in the Sea to Sky region (Squamish to Whistler).

You will be providing in-home compassionate care to seniors, support women and their families through high-risk pregnancies and the transition home post-natal, support clients with short and long-term disabilities (including WCB and ICBC claimants), post-operation and cancer treatment recovery, end of life support and comfort for clients and their families, providing much needed respite for caregivers/loved ones, so they can recharge their own batteries.
Potential Signing bonus or moving allowance up-to $1000.Plus, generous and competitive compensation based on experience/education, and benefits package, potential staff housing available, and education/tuition assistance.
Flexible Schedule – full-time, part-time, and casual positions available.
Requirements:
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates recommended.
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle (we provide a vehicle allowance)
- Current Criminal Records and Reference Checks
- Independent, highly personable, attention to detail and able to follow protocols and client care plans.
- Comfortably able to meet the physical demands of safely assist clients with standing, sitting down, walking, lifting mobility and lifting devices.
- Conversational English skills – additional languages is an asset.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of clients, their family members, caregivers, and co-workers.
- 2 years relevant education/experience, or equivalent.
