Position Summary
Interior Health is looking for an experienced Registered Dietitian with ability to work independently while managing a multi-diverse caseload.
Based in Oliver, BC, this position offers services to Acute Care, Home Health and Chronic Disease Management. Restricted Activities A and C are required. Diabetes experience preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Providing nutrition care and support to individuals, patients, residents and groups.
• Providing nutrition services through: nutrition assessment; care planning and charting; intervention, goal setting and monitoring; counseling and education programs.
• Consulting and communicating with the multidisciplinary care teams.
• Acting as a resource to other health professionals and communities within Interior Health.
• Providing input to the Professional Practice Leader by participating in the development of nutrition practice guidelines and procedures; research and continuous quality improvement initiatives for the facility and program.
Schedule is Monday through Friday Days. Access to the use of a personal vehicle is required.

Qualifications
• Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
• Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
• Registrant of the College of Dietitians of British Columbia with Restricted Acts A and C.
• Diabetes experience is an asset.
• Valid BC Driver’s License.
