Applicants should have:

• Good Problem Solving Skills
• Ability to work independently
• 2 to 3 years experience work on Heavy Duty Off Road Equipment
• Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician - Off Road and/or On Road
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Valid drivers license – abstract required
• Experience with Off Road construction equipment
• Potential employee’s to need valid Off road equipment ticket from their province, if not in possession of Red seal, or AB Off Road ticket; be willing to challenge AB exam and/or Red seal within 6 months

Job Duties to Include:

• New Machinery PDI's
• Perform Warranty Repairs on late model equipment
• Repairs and rebuilds on all brands of off road construction equipment
• Work with other technicians on machine rebuilds
• Will require ability to troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, determine extent of repair required, adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Instruct apprentices, keep maintenance reports and documentation

Pay Structure:

• Overtime at time and half - paid after 8 hours/day
• Nightshift premium
• O $36/hr to $53/hr – Depending on Experience and if in the Field or Shop
• Paid 1/2 Hour lunch
• This is a permanent full time position
• Industry competitive wages, and above
• If ever sent in field, Hotels/Condo are paid, travel time paid, as well living out allowance

Other Requirements:

• Pre employment Medical exam
• Be able to provide own transportation to our shop in Edmonton

Shift Structures:

• Guaranteed minimum of 44 Hrs/week – Overtime available and paid at time and a half
• Typical work week is 50 hrs plus
• Shift Structure varies with our different locations we work at –please contact us and we can give a run down of what you could expect and see if we have a shift rotation that can work for you.

Location:

• Shop is located at 18104 111 Ave NW
• We are looking for mechanics to ideally be based out of the Edmonton area to work in our Edmonton shop
