Heavy Duty Mechanic Jobs

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Journeyman Mechanics to join our team in Edmonton. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about heavy duty trucks and equipment and thrive in both shop and field environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on a wide range of heavy duty trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients and addressing their concerns.
• Conduct repairs and replacements on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and more.

Requirements:

• Journeyman Mechanic certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in repairing heavy duty trucks and equipment.
• $45 -$47 per hour
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Proficient in working on various types of heavy duty trucks.
• 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have your own tools.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
