DESCRIPTION:
Robert Half is hiring now for a results-oriented and accomplished Director of Data Analytics to fulfill a role for our Client. The ideal applicant will supervise the entire reporting and analytics requirements while motivating and managing a group of business intelligence specialists. This is a hands-on position that calls for knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, MSSQL, and BI architecture in addition to experience managing vendors. You will utilize your top-notch technical skills to lead and motivate a group of experts in business intelligence, offering assistance when required and ensure the new Power BI solution is implemented and optimized to fit the demands of the company. You will assist in establishing the organization's future data and analytics structure to make sure they have the systems and procedures needed to be successful. You will also create the BI architecture, which should include the data models, data pipelines, and data warehouses, and work on reporting for general company requirements, including giving management advice and insight. Our Client is based in Red Deer County, AB. but this role is open to fully remote work concessions for eligible candidates.

Requirements
MUST HAVES:

• Strong leadership and communication abilities with the capacity to motivate and lead a team of professionals.
• Supply chain management and logistics knowledge.
• The ability to operate in a fast-paced workplace and prioritize competing demands.
• At least 7 years of expertise in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar subject, with an emphasis on BI architecture
• A bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, data science, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent amount of relevant work experience
• Proven proficiency with MSSQL, Tableau, and Power BI
