We have an opportunity for a Graphic Designer role to join our Marketing Team.
As a Graphic Designer at PressReader, you will be joining our creative production team; Creative Lab. You will be vital in delivering high-value designs to our internal stakeholders as well as our external clients. Through close partnership, you will be involved with infographics, white papers and editorial projects. As a creative thinker with strong communication skills, you will thrive in understanding what various stakeholders and external clients are trying to achieve. As a team player and no-ego doer, you will take pride in delivering strong visuals that match sometimes unclear yet demanding requests.
If you are a creative designer who enjoys a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and who wants to have a true impact on how ideas and brands are being communicated, this role might be for you.
In this role, you will:
  • Craft engaging sales proposals in PowerPoint
  • Design event signage, booths, handouts for our internal clients
  • Create and update marketing collateral
  • Template completed assets for ease of use in our automated design system
  • Help design landing page concepts for our web team
  • Conceptualize seasonal campaign assets
You are a great fit if you have:
  • A well-versed expertise in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in the related field or other industries can be considered
  • Proficiency in all Adobe Creative Cloud applications, with a focus on InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • A collaborative, patient and open-minded personality
  • A great sense of humor and like working with a diverse and passionate colleague
  • Ability to own and solve problems
  • A keen eye for accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • A good understanding of HubSpot and Unbounce or similar tools
Bonus points if you have:
  • A good understanding of project management tools, i.e. Monday.com
  • Have a strong interest in the technology sector
  • A diploma or certificate in design, marketing, or related field
This role is a full-time position based in our Richmond, BC office. Working from home is available during the Covid pandemic and we are actively considering and trialing hybrid solutions post-pandemic.
