Avidbots is hiring a Graphic Designer! The Designer is a creative, proactive, thoughtful individual that is passionate about brand strategy. You’ll be leading the visual representation of the Avidbots visual identity, bringing it to life across a variety of mediums from print to digital to UX.
You’ll have a strong understanding of the design process with a critical eye and obsessive attention to detail. Seeing each piece created and designed as a part of the larger brand narrative, you’ll understand the importance of a consistent narrative. You’ll be involved in the decision-making process and own the Avidbots brand across the company.
This opportunity is a hybrid position based in our Kitchener office!

Day-to-Day Activities
- Own the Avidbots brand, while being responsibile for managing your own projects, and ensuring strong visual consistency across the whole business
- Manage all aspects of the design process, seeking feedback from required parties, managing changes as needed, recommend copy adjustments and providing final files
- Create and deliver presentation materials, iconography, infographics, images for social media, website content, articles, emails templates and other marketing collateral
- Be heavily involved in the design process of the corporate website and UX
- Comfortable managing the server keeping all files organized with version control being of utmost importance

- At least 5 years of experience in graphic design (preferably in an agency or B2B setting)
- Endless curiosity - you love asking questions, and learning in an agile environment
- Self-awareness - you are a team player who is eager to contribute ideas, and knows how to both give and receive feedback constructively
- Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Able to understand complex problems and processes and illustrate them in an easy-to-understand manner
- Comfortable having a seat and the table and sharing your input
- Comfortable leading the design process from ideation, through conception to the final output
- An expert in visual identify, advertising design, technical illustration and animation
- Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include: criminal/civil background checks and motor vehicle records search)
- Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
