The beloved classic Charlotte's Web is returning to the screen in high quality, stylized CG! Our talented crew is helping to create the definitive version of this timeless story produced by Sesame Workshop for HBO Max.

We’re searching for a talented 3D FX Lead to join our Charlotte's Web crew!

Responsibilities:

• Work with the creative team to develop the overall look and approach for the project
• Work closely with Production on FX breakdowns and shot assignments
• Create FX with a sense of timing for animation
• Assign tasks, review shots, and provide feedback to FX team
• Work closely with asset team to generate solutions
• Lead and mentor FX team
• Complete assigned tasks on schedule, ensuring deadlines are met
• Collaborate with the asset team to create FX shots such as dust, rain, fire, cloth, etc. using Houdini
• Communicate risks and challenges to Production team

Qualifications:

• In depth knowledge of rendering and compositing strategies is a plus
• 2+ years as an FX Lead or Supervisor in an Animation Production Setting in television or film
• Knowledge of CFX is a major asset
• In depth knowledge of Houdini
• Knowledge of Maya and Redshift is an asset
• Strong leadership skills
