Adecco is thrilled to present an extraordinary opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the newly renovated hotel team in Gold River, BC as a full-time, permanent Front Desk Clerk.
In this role, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the breathtaking natural beauty of Gold River, a town renowned for its proximity to thrilling outdoor activities such as the Nootka Island Trail, Elk River Trail hiking, Crest Mountain climbing, and more.   • Free access to our Aspire Academy for continuing professional education Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Pay Rate: up to $27.5 / hour
  • Accommodations: First three months covered
  • Relocation assistance: partially provided, if not presently a resident of Gold River, BC.
  • Taking, canceling, and changing room reservation requests
  • Handling wake-up calls and a myriad of other guest requests Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for success in this role

  • Should maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
  • Answering inquiries about the hotel and its services through the telephone, email, or in-person
  • Maintaining an inventory of reservations, vacancies, and room assignments
  • Processing guest departures including calculating changes and receiving payments
  • Flexible to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Answering telephone calls and relaying messages
  • 2 + years of experience working in customer service, preferably in hospitality
  • Location: Gold River, BC
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints or questions
