About Our Client

• Prepare competitive analysis and industry benchmarking reports.
• Coordinate and manage with the preparation of deferred income taxes, income tax filings, and tax planning initiatives with use/help of consultants as/when needed.
• Other duties & responsibilities, as assigned from time to time.
• Assist with execution of the global insurance process for the Company.
• Participate in due diligence activities associated with mergers, acquisitions & divestitures.
• Work collaboratively with Controller to complete monthly consolidated financial statement close process.
• Work with facilities and management team to prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Assist with the annual audit process performed by the company’s external auditors.
• Conduct financial analyses that provide insight into the operations of the business, focused on the facility/operations level.
• Assist with all financing activities.
• Develop management reporting on financial results, period end financial position, forecasts, and relevant KPIs.
• Design, implement and monitor internal controls; work with Director, Financial Reporting to implement ICFR.
• Support various Health Canada reporting requirements.
• Draft MD&A and assist with Financial Statements prepared in accordance with IFRS.

• Public practice audit experience is an asset.
• 5+ years’ experience post-CPA designation in a financial reporting and/or forecasting capacity.
• Demonstrated capability as a team player with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented and proven driver of change and continuous improvement.
• Previous experience managing a team an asset.
• Experience in cannabis and/or manufacturing setting an asset.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize deliverables.
• Excellent computer skills – Primarily with Accounting Software and MS Office.
• Understanding of current accounting pronouncements in IFRS.
• Able to successfully obtain clear criminal record check.
• Excellent verbal/written communications and presentation skills.
