Job Description

Financial Analyst (2362) – Our Client is looking for a Financial Analyst/Data Coordinator to be responsible for identifying key trends and data insights to assist with process improvements as well as support the claim appeal process. Reporting directly to the National Manager of Warranty Administration and National Parts Sales and Marketing Manager, in our Customer Care and Aftersales division, this position works closely with the managers and analysts in several Customer Care & Aftersales departments. The individual will also be heavily involved with policies and procedures regarding corporate and dealership service operations as well as providing support for program administration. The ideal candidate would have a technical/mechanical interest or knowledge.

Compensation and Work Schedule

  • Work location/environment: Oshawa, ON; Head Office, Mostly Remote but has flexibility to work in office
  • Start date: Immediate
  • Est. Reg. Hrs/Wk: 40
  • Compensation: $26 - $30
  • Work Schedule: Mon - Fri; 8am - 5pm
  • Term: Contract position, 12 months on-going

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar role (flexible)
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, MS Access, Power BI, and SQL
  • Strong communication and strong attention to detail/accuracy
  • Highly analytical and problem-solving skills
  • College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

- Create, manage, and maintain budgets for different departments

- Monitor & reconcile budgets monthly, revising/retiming forecasts as required and review monthly with managers

- Run SAP reports as needed for analysis

- Communicate with internal and external partners on budgets and forecasts monthly

- Year-end activities (closing out the year, preparation for new year)

- Develop and maintain relationships internally and external partners

- Obtain input from vendors, dealer associations and VSM stakeholders to improve forecasting accuracy and understanding results.

- Process and track dealer training collections

- Analyze (SOW) statement of work for competitive bids and assist managers/stakeholders and Purchasing department with procurement process.

- Process and audit invoices to ensure information is complete, correct and meet company criteria.

- Work with Purchasing and Vendors to ensure proper billing is received so invoices can be processed in timely matter. (Investigation of issues to resolution)

- Manage onboarding/offboarding of Field staff to the Field Contact Tool

- Create meaningful managerial reports of Dealer Success activity related to dealer meetings booked by Field staff. Report out monthly.

- Complete special assignments as determined by managers

- Issue, track, amend and process purchase requisitions for the departments within SAP

- Work with vendors and SAP to resolve any billing issues

- Assist managers with analysis and preparation of purchase orders, convert SOW descriptions into SAP coding and verbiage. PO/contract item mapping, maintain tracking. Assist purchasing and SAP team with cart/contract structure. Liaison with purchasing ensuring PO’s are set up properly and approved

- Liaise with team to identify and resolve escalating system issues.Required Conditions
