To support them through this growth, they're currently seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their team. Your contributions will extend beyond traditional responsibilities as you actively support process improvements, streamline month-end close activities, and excel in budget allocation and sales tax preparation. What You Will Be Doing:
- Fx calculations (translation/CTA)
- Manage intercompany transactions, FX calculations and consolidations
- Support payroll with benefit and cost centre budget allocation
- Support full cycle accounting; journal entries/accruals/reconciliations
- Establish accounting processes and support the improvement of month-end close activities
- Financial reporting (IFRS) including variance analyses with commentary
- Decentralizing process projects
- Oversee sales tax preparation
What We Need From You:
- Familiarity with reporting under IFRS
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Full-cycle accounting expertise (JEs, accruals, reconciliations, etc.)
- Systems-savvy with intermediate Excel skills
- Meticulous to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with intercompany transactions, FX calculations and consolidations
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
