Support the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You will provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers and competitors. You will support revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development. You will support cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

• Act as a mentor to junior technicians.
• Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as required.
• Keep abreast of changes and new developments in product and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Complex Service Calls include those on integrated and multi-vendor systems.
• Perform system backups, install appropriate updates and patches.
• Respond to and resolve complex Emergency Service Calls as required, in accordance with customer contract deliverables.
• Diagnose and perform repairs in a time effective manner.
• Verify system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements and shop drawings/sequence of operations, etc.
• Update Customer drawings/documentation with any configuration or model changes completed by SDC.
• Ensure all assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks are completed in the time allotted and the month scheduled for complex sites.
• Project Management of and/or participation in delivery of Small Service or Install jobs, including but limited to, engineering, drawings, programming, documentation, installation, management of sub-contractors, start-up, testing and customer acceptance. Coordinate with SDC or Local engineer to understand scope, Hardware, Software, Graphics and as-built details.

Must Have

• Minimum of 7 years of related experience include troubleshooting, delivery of small jobs and mentoring junior technicians. Troubleshooting and performing service calls on integrated and multi-vendor systems.
• Technical College Diploma in the appropriate field or equivalent experience.
