Our Field Service Engineers are instrumental in providing a first-class customer experience when repairing and maintaining our products on customer sites.
We are looking for a talented and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our field service team supporting our customers across Canada.
You will be experienced in providing engineering support to medical devices.
You will be comfortable travelling as required for the job, typically 5 days per week with overnight stays averaging around 70-80%.
You will love troubleshooting and finding issues to solve, the more complex the better!
But equally, you will be a fantastic communicator with our customers, setting clear expectations and be able to build a strong rapport.

What does your day-to-day look like?
Education : Certification in Electro-Mechanics, Electronics or similar
Experience:
We want to see your experience as a service engineer within medical devices. You will be able to troubleshoot complex electrical, pneumatic or mechanical systems.
Experience working with diagnostic laboratory / pathology equipment is strongly preferred.
You’ll be able to build meaningful relationships with your customer base and become a trusted partner.
You will have a full and clean driving license and be available to travel 80% nationally.
Fluent English required, French would be a benefit

What does your day-to-day look like?
- Accountability for maintaining assigned inventory.
- Providing emergency service and repairs using troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Liaising with customer IT departments and assisting with information systems installations and troubleshooting.
- Routinely complete administrative paperwork, such as but not limited to: Time Reports, Expense Reports, Equipment Site Assessments, Inventory Reports, Internal Laboratory Reports, Equipment Checklists and Field Service Reports.
- Installing instruments at customer sites
- Providing basic use\maintenance training to customers.
- Preparation of laboratory design for new instrument installations.
- Planning and completing preventative maintenance on time.
- Supporting marketing activities such as exhibitions.
