Farm Soil Sampler - Seasonal

Reporting to a District Operations Manager, you will use GPS equipment and specialized vehicles to collect soil samples from our customer's fields, to be analyzed for a Farmers Edge laboratory. In this role you will travel and sample a territory around Edmonton and surrounding communities.

What you'll be doing:

• Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from grower's fields
• Safe operation of motorized vehicles and specialized sampling equipment
• Sampling database administration and maintenance
• Ensure quality control and accurate recording of sample data
• Regularly communicate with leadership to discuss field conditions

What you'll need to be successful:

• Ability to carry up to 20 kg;
• Valid driver's license* for designated province of employment;
• Ability to travel, often to rural areas
• Availability to work a combination of days, evenings and/or weekends
• Agricultural experience and/or Western Canadian agricultural knowledge;
