Safety is top priority, followed by delivering the best quality service. Hydro Vac Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment for various applications and clientele.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including; utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching and digging
- Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Setup and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Hydrovac operation
- Ensure Hydrovac truck and all equipment is in good working condition
- Perform inspections and complete required reporting
- Report equipment damages, requirements and/or concerns
- Follow instructions from on-site foreman and supervisors, Ensures Heal and Safety is number one priority, followed by policies & procedures and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Drives and operates the truck in a safe and appropriate manner
- Completes pre and post trip inspections
- Completes paperwork for safety, payroll, driving related items and day-to-day requirements as needed
- Performs laborer tasks as required
- Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area
- Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and the mechanical fitness of machinery

- Safe working environment by modeling and complying with appropriate safety instructions and behaviours
- Contributes to a safe working environment by adhering to heal and safety practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Class 1 or 3Q drivers’ license with clean 5 year drivers abstract
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and safety focused environment
- Experience with a Foremost Hydrovac
- Minimum 3 years Hydrovac Operation
- Minimum 5 years driving manual transmissions

- CSTS
- Fall Protection
