Position Overview:
Responsible for equipment and rentals sales, providing innovative solutions to customers, and identifying new market and opportunities for the sales of new and used Caterpillar equipment
:

• Resolve customer product concerns and warranty or goodwill issues
• Represent the company in an ethical and professional manner
• Maintain sound long-term relationships with customers, Caterpillar, internal departments and staff
• Develop and maintain accurate and current client information data utilizing Finning's Sales Support software
• Achieve targets for revenue growth and profitability
• Provide the best solutions to our customers including marketing of all products
• Sell equipment, products and services to end users in a specified geographically or demographically defined market
• Understand the customers' economic models and proactively develop timely deal strategies
• Forecast new equipment sales and achieve budget revenue targets for equipment sales

Qualifications:

• Resolve customer product concerns, account disputes and warranty or goodwill issues
• Excellent organizational skills
• Maintain current knowledge of customers, economic environment and Caterpillar products
• Business acumen and understanding of support systems, credit and financing
• Thorough understanding of Finning internal functions and processes
• Sound knowledge of products and services related to the General Construction industry (Compact Construction Equipment and Building Construction Products)
• Previous sales experience and industry experience is considered an asset
• Understands and adheres to safety procedures
• Team player
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Independent; ability to work under minimal supervision
• Time management
• Excellent interpersonal skills
