Construction season is finally taking off! We are looking for 4 skilled labourers to join a local companies team working in the Lethbridge & area doing commercial construction and renovations.

Compensation & Hours

• The rate of pay will be $ 22/hr.
• Monday – Friday: 6:30 am start with potential of casual weekends or overtime

Position Summary

• Assisting foreperson & tradesperson
• Assist in demolition as needed
• Set up site by organizing and setting up materials, equipment, scaffolds, barricades, temporary structures,
• Loading, unloading, organizing and transporting materials
• Commercial painting
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris or possible hazards

Required Qualifications

• Ability to operate hand tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving, organizational, prioritizing and time management skills
• PPE: Steel toed boots, work gloves
• Excellent balance & hand-eye coordination
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and blueprints as needed
• Health & Safety minded
• Class 5 drivers license
• Knowledge of construction principles and methods
• Ability to perform extensive physical labour including: standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, twisting, climbing & lifting 50 lbs safely
• 2+ years experience in building construction or renovations

Bonus Points For

• Trade certified for a relevant position (eg. plumber, carpenter, electrician)
