Landscape Maintenance Worker/General Labour

Our client is currently looking for an Full time Landscape Maintenance Worker/General labour here in Calgary, AB.

Wage: Depending on Experience

What will you do?

• Plant trees, shrubs, bulbs, grass and other plants
• Assist in irrigation system installations and maintenance
• Perform tasks in snow removal and landscaping such as snow plowing, sweeping, blowing, shoveling, mowing, trimming, etc.
• Portray a favourable image of the organization as a front-line contact with clients/tenants
• Operate a variety of equipment (lawn mower, trimmer, hedge pruner, skid steer, truck with a snowplow, sweeper, blower, etc.)
• Install landscaping materials
• Respond to service requests and emergencies
• Perform regular inspections of the building grounds to ensure curb-side appearance is in accordance with contract and company standards.

Requirements/Experience:

• Good command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
• Ability to drive a truck and trailer, and operate power equipment used in snow removal and landscape maintenance
• Minimum two years’ landscaping experience
• Completed Grade 12 education
• Strong customer care and communication skills
