The Opportunity

This role is responsible to support delivery of services to support campus wide initiatives and return to campus activities. This position supports academic and non-academic functions and events by providing general services support.

The Role

• Actively participate in Committees
• Pick up Schools and Departments equipment and electronic disposals
• Provides labor for event set-up and tear-down services including furniture and flooring set-up and tear-down, signage install
• Load, offload, and transport material and equipment for academic and non-academic departments
• Perform other duties related to operations, special projects, and team building
• Provides labor for office and furniture moves
• Support Academic and Departments
• Yearly and periodic room inventory and inspections
• Ensure timely delivery of educational materials to various areas as required
• Provides labour for collection and transport of hazardous waste
• Assesses damage to furniture
• Event and Exam Support
• Other Duties
• Convocation set-up

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 Diploma
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Forklift Operator Certificate
• Willingness to obtain First Aid, CPR, and WHMIS
• Class 5 Drivers License
• Preferred
• Trained in First Aid, CPR, and WHMIS
• Organizational skills
• Relevant work experience
• Minimum Required
• Relevant work experience
• Grade 12 Diploma
• Willing to obtain Forklift Operator Certificate
• Problem solving skills
• Experience using Archibus
