Arch Staffing and Consulting has partnered with a global renewable energy company which is also a system provider for integrated energy solutions from solar, wind and biomass power organization in their search for a General Laborer role.
As a General Laborer you will be required to work in the manufacturing areas, performing routine tasks such as labeling, stacking, packing, wiping or assembling of finished goods. Each task will be performed in the area specified by the Supervisor to support the needs of Production, and in a safe manner.
Work Model - Onsite at Youngstown location
Pay - 24 per hour
Contract
LOA PROVIDED
Available Shift
Monday to Thursday 9 Hours shift and on Friday 8 hours
Timing - 7.30 AM to 4.30 PM
Essential Responsibilities

• Inspecting solar panel racking components
• On-the-job training provided as needed
• Helping with site upkeep and cleaning as required
• Ability to readily accept and apply direction from supervision
• Installing racking systems and solar panels
• Able to work in a team setting as well as independently
• Workers may be considered for additional roles as the project progresses
• Strong communication skills
• Using hand tools, both manual and powered, to install racking and modular components

To be considered for this role, here are the skills we’re looking for:

• Familiarity with the use of hand and power tools
• High school diploma
• Be in good health and physically fit
• A valid class 5 license and/or reliable transportation
• Willing to learn and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• CSTS Certificate
• Able to work outside in various weather conditions
• Prior construction/trades experience an asset
