Environment, Health And Safety Manager

IS2 Workforce Solutions has paired up with a local manufacturing company to find an Environmental Health and Safety Manager. The successful incumbent will be the subject matter expert for the facility, supporting the Plant Leader. They will be passionate for creating a safety culture enabling the plant to achieve their goals proactively. Are you a strong leader, with influential capabilities? Your day to day:

·Inspire a health and safety focused environment

·Lead environmental health and safety initiatives and projects

·Improve the plants safety program

·Regulate compliance of all EHS requirements

·Execute inspections, risk assessments, audits, investigations and evaluations

·Document, assess, investigate, and handle injuries

·Create training programs

·Work with a continuous improvement mindset

Who you are:

·Bachelor degree preferred

·EHS training and certification

·5 years of manufacturing experience

·Experience with ISO

·Knowledge of federal and provincial regulations and standards

·5 years experience of leading or participating in a EHS program

·Prior experience with cost effective solutions

·Proficient with accident investigations, trends, and analyzation

·Strong technical abilities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·Knowledge of ERP/SAP a plus
