Account Executive – Enterprise Solutions | Windsor, ON
** Opportunity of relocation **
Hays has partnered a global systems integrator who specializes in the design, installation and service of building automation, security, and fire safety solutions. The company has a positive culture which is team oriented, and offers good potential for career development.
We are looking for an enterprise solutions account executive, for the Windsor and London territory.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients, identify and research targets, contact them, and build long-term relationships.
- Qualify customer needs, present suitable solutions and close the sale using a consultative sales approach.
- Effectively manage communication to client regarding project plans, timelines, and updates to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Sell into multiple verticals including education health care, industrial and commercial buildings.
- Represent the company at trade shows and networking events.
- Manage existing accounts and maximise their potential.
- Use a consultative approach to sell the range of solutions offered including building automation, fire and security systems, and service contracts.
- Collaborate with the estimating and operations teams to prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals and project plans.
Qualifications
- Experience selling into larger strategic accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. A positive can-do attitude, and a passion for providing best-in-class customer service.
- Ambitious, proactive and results driven.
- At least 3 years’ solutions-based sales experience in a technical industry.
- An aptitude for and an understanding of technical IT networking principles so that you can clearly present and explain solutions to your client. It will be an asset if you have experience with Lenel, Genetec, CCure or AMAG.
Compensation
The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary of $75000 to $90000, plus uncapped commission.
