Renewal by Andersen was founded with the objective of creating a different and better window and door replacement experience for homeowners.


Job Overview


Based in the Company’s Mississauga, ON office, the Employee Experience Specialist will be responsible for providing support, leadership and assist with oversight of office operations and Human Resources activities for the Company’s Greater Toronto market, consisting of more than 50 employees.


The Employee Experience Specialist is a strategic business partner who helps the region achieve its goals by being an advocate, change leader, and champion for an unparalleled employee experience.


Responsibilities


  • Identifies trends and provides guidance to management at all levels to mitigate employee relations issues and promote a positive work culture. Assists the leadership team in managing programs that improve employee engagement and drive positive employee experiences including employee celebrations and events, recognition, and volunteer initiatives.
  • Serves as a resource for all employees by being available and accessible to discuss all people related issues.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with office vendors.
  • Manages hiring and termination processes while ensuring all employee records and systems are accurate and up to date.
  • Partners with the President and Head of People to develop and maintain an organization structure that supports business efficiency and growth. Provides appropriate employee career paths and development opportunities.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition and department leaders to provide a world-class onboarding experience. Ensures a successful handoff from Talent Acquisition upon offer acceptance.
  • Assesses development needs and coordinates/conducts applicable training and development programs as necessary.
  • Supports the performance management process to ensure continuous improvement and the implementation of best practices. Assists managers with coaching, corrective actions, improvement plans, goal setting, performance assessments and succession planning.
  • Assist with office administrative tasks and fosters efficient and seamless office operations, including being the point person on all company functions and meetings.
  • Administers the Company’s benefit programs (retirement/health & welfare/leave of absence, etc.)
  • Assist with office activities and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and enhance process efficiencies.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Partners with the Head of People and Legal to interpret and communicate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all employment-related laws and regulations.


Qualifications


To perform this job successfully, an individual should meet the following minimum requirements:


  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal communication, persuasion, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with an emphasis in generalist HR.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and personable. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with high standards.
  • Established assessment and decision-making skills with proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills. Ability to set priorities and organize time. Demonstrates initiative and can work independently.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.


Compensation And Benefits


  • Competitive compensation: $50,000-$60,000, annually.
  • RRSP with employer percentage
  • Full insurance package, including medical, dental, vision, life.


Schedule


  • Onsite Monday - Friday in our Mississauga, ON office..
