About The Role


JOB SUMMARY:


Reporting into the Director, Ottawa Operations and Security with dotted line to Modis Canada HR Director, this role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth onboarding of Modis Billable Colleagues into the organization, and assisting with the ongoing management of their assignments from an HR/Operations perspective.


Essential Functions


What you’ll be doing


  • Communicate all new and current Modis policies and procedures to the Colleagues.
  • Review and processing of Colleague travel expense claims.
  • Liaise with the recruiter and Colleague to ensure all relevant information and documentation is provided to the Operations Specialists to complete the placement in the Bullhorn system.
  • Ensure the Colleague is informed of the process to submit vacation and absence requests, and how to report billable hours for their assignment.
  • Primary point of contact for Modis Billable Colleagues for duration of their billable assignments, and be available to answer any questions from Colleagues and escalate as necessary to HR, Recruiting, Operations or Security.
  • Work with HR to provide the correct Modis Benefits Package to the Colleague and ensure they are registered with the benefits provider when needed.
  • Work with the Colleague to collect the needed information and documentation, such as SIN, banking information, completion of tax forms, review and acceptance of Modis policies, etc; relay required information to HR.
  • Ensure Colleagues are provided with any necessary Modis timesheets and status reports related to their contracts, and ensure they are completed and sent to Modis on a monthly basis.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new Modis Billable Colleagues during the hiring process, liaising with the Recruiting team and Human Resources (HR) to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Work with the recruiter to generate Employment Agreements in a timely manner.
  • Management and tracking of vacation and absence requests made by Colleagues.


Secondary Functions


  • Branch point of contact for Modis Academy
  • Attend regularly scheduled Team meetings.
  • All other duties as assigned by Manager.
