Electrician/Plc Technician - Jobs

One of our manufacturing client in Mississauga, ON is looking for a Electrician.
Shift - Days
Responsibility

• Repair critical electrical equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and complete projects such as mechanical and electrical hardware and software upgrades
• Repair or replace control devices such as switches, proximity sensors, push buttons, contactors, motor starts, thermocouples etc. as needed
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery including conveyors and cranes
• Detect, troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in all types of equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical functions
• Responsible for making PLC program changes, installations or updates to maintain proper operations
• Read and interpret drawings for conveyors, machines and building.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Industrial Electrician (442A) or as a Construction Electrician (309A) and strong background in PLC maintenance.
• Previous crane, conveyor, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance experience is a definite asset.
• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years related electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Possesses skill in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, especially electrical drawing.
