Lore Electric is looking to hire an Electrical Project Manager! Lore Electric is a Vancouver-based electrical contracting firm specializing in new construction, mid- and low-rise residential, energy efficiency, commercial projects, electrical upgrades, and retrofits( Remove Electrical upgrades and retrofits).

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a positive, confident, organized, and hands-on Electrical Project Manager to oversee the building process from start to finish and ensure our customer promises are fulfilled. This exciting, fast-paced, and collaborative role will work closely with on-site teams to deliver high quality projects on schedule and on budget.

In this role, you will be:


  • Balancing time between office administration and on-site requirements
  • Ensuring reputation for site cleanliness and organization is upheld by on-site team members
  • Implementing best practices and standardized procedures in order to maximize productivity and control labour and material costs; on-going reforecasting to ensure financial accuracy
  • Maintaining clear communication and building relationships with clientele to ensure project satisfaction and customer loyalty
  • Supporting with human resources efforts including hiring practices, onboarding, training, conducting performance reviews, conflict resolution, and team discipline
  • Liaising with trades and reviewing drawings for potential project conflicts
  • Completing all project layout and design processess while supervising complete electrical installations from start to finish
  • Developing and coordinating all aspects of projects, including schedules, resources, procurement, commissioning, budgets, tracking, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Setting clear goals and expectations amongst site foreman and team members; providing coaching, motivation, and guidance for growth and development of colleagues
  • Coordinating change management as required with the appropriate tracking and communication
  • Maintaining a Google Calendar with recurring meetings to ensure regular rhythms and touchpoints with direct reports and sites; completing relevant touch point forms
  • Overseeing pre-construction meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field
  • Ensuring friendly, effective, professional, and timely communication standards, including texts, phone calls, and emails
  • Coordinating shop drawing packages, managing close-out procedures and packages
  • Ensuring all job site folders are up to date with current BOM, shop drawings, and site instructions
  • Attending site meetings as required with the site foreman to ensure project schedules and deadlines are followed and met


Experience Required


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous Foreman and Project Management experience carrying multiple successful projects from start to completion
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as Provincial and Municipal building codes
  • Aptitude for prioritizing and managing a high-volume workload, while staying focused with sound decision-making processes
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to tackle tasks of any scale
  • 5 + years of previous experience working as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally with a thorough understanding of multi-family project workflows
  • Red Seal Electrician with the technical ability to perform complete electrical installations
  • Confidence monitoring and controlling complex project budgets
  • Strong level of comfort and efficiency using computers and technology
  • Ability to work legally in Canada
  • Class B Field Safety Representative (FSR) Certification
  • A clean driving record
